The Jaguar Land Rover owned by Tata Motors has cut off the prices of Range Rover and Range Rover Sport edition. There is the possibility that Range Rover prices decrease from now because it will be assembled in India.

For the first time in history, since its inception in 1970, Jaguar Land Rover has started building its cars outside England. Due to Range Rover and Range Rover Sport now being built and bought within the country, from now will not have to pay extra import taxes. These Jaguar Land Rover cars will be completely Made in India so there is a possibility that their prices are likely to reduce by 18 to 22%.

With an 81% growth, Jaguar Land Rover recorded sales of 4436 units in the previous financial year. Jaguar Land Rover is focusing on increasing sales and expanding its market share in the country. To achieve this target the company reduced the prices ranging from Rs. 10 lakh to 90 lakh.

Currently, Jaguar Land Rover is manufacturing the Jaguar F-Pace, Discovery Sport, Range Rover Velar, and Jaguar Evoque at its Pune-based manufacturing plant. Due to the increased sales in the last financial year, the company has decided to manufacture Range Rover and Range Rover Sport also in India. Jaguar Land Rover has 5 manufacturing plants in the UK and one in India which was started in May 2011.
India’s Pune-based manufacturing plant started in 2011 after the acquisition of JLR by Tata Motors.
In 2008 Tata Motors brought this luxury brand Jaguar Land Rover at Rs. 9300 crore. The company has recorded its highest-ever revenue of Rs. 83000 crore in the last quarter of FY 2023-24 with 11% growth.
Also, revenue has increased by 27% this year as compared to the previous whole financial year, and it has recorded an all-time high of Rs. 3 lakh crore.
