The price of Nexon is comparatively higher than Mahindra XUV 3XO. The price of Tata Nexon ranges from Rs. 8.15 to 15.80 lakh and the XUV 3XO price ranges from Rs. 7.49 to 15.49 lakh. Nexon is available in 99 variants while recently Mahendra launched XUV 3XO in 25 variants.

Both the models are available in petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol engine of Tata Nexon generates 118 bhp power at 5500 rpm and XUV 3XO generates slightly less, 110 bhp Power at 5000 rpm. Nexon produces 107 Nm torque at 1750-4000 rpm and 3X0 produces 200 Nm torque at 1500 rpm. If considering the base models, Nexon has 17.44 kmpl and XUV 3XO has a slightly high 18.89 kmpl as per ARAI.
The Nexon has a bigger 382 litres boot space than XUV 3XO’s 364 litres boot space. Nexon has 195/60 R16 tyres at the front and rear and Mahindra has given some extra broad 250/65 R16 Tyres to the XUV 3XO.

Tata Nexon has a 5-star Global NCAP rating, but XUV 3XO did not follow the test until its launch. Both the models come with 6 airbags, seat belt warning and child seat anchor points. Regarding the breaking and control, this duo has ABS, EBD, Hill hold control, Break assist and Traction control system but the XUV 3XO has some extra features like Ride height adjustment and Hill Descent control.
The base models of these two SUVs have single-zone AC control. You will find equal driver and passenger seat adjustments in both SUVs. In terms of interior, Nexon has a dual-tone (Off-white & grey) interior and XUV 3XO also has a dual-tone (black and white) interior. Tata Nexon has all LED – headlights, taillights and DRLs while XUV 3XO has a halogen projector, headlights and LED tail lights.
