Engine and Performance:

The Tata Curvv has an 1199 cc, 3 cylinders SOHC engine which produces 123 bhp power at 5000 rpm and 25 Nm torque at 1750 rpm. Hyundai Creta comes with a 1482 cc, 4-cylinder, DOHC engine that generates 158 bhp power at 5500 rpm and 253 Nm torque at 1500-3000 rpm. A Crata’s engine is more powerful than a Curvv engine.

Both the vehicles have disc brakes at the front and the rear. The Curvv has R18 tyres and Creta has R17 tyres. Curvv and Creta both have automatic (DCT) transmissions with front-wheel drive.

The duo have a panoramic sunroof, roof-mounted antenna, and body-coloured bumpers but only Creta has a Chrome finish exhaust pipe. Also, you will find the ambient interior lighting and paddle lamps in Creta only.

Both the models have advanced safety features like forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic assist and blind spot detection. For security purposes, the pair got an engine immobilizer, central locking, speed-sensing door lock and child safety lock. Both are made with single zone automatic AC at the front and rear. The Curvv has the body coloured exterior, and door handles and the Creta has the Chrome finished door handles. Only the curve got the advanced rain-sensing wipers, leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knob.

The Curvv has parking sensors only at the front and the Creta got it at the front and rear. Both vehicles have an antilock braking system, hill hold assist, electronics stability control and electronic brakeforce distribution. Only the Curvv is assembled with brake assist and hill decent control so you will find a better option in terms of braking and traction with the curve.
