The best variant of MG Hector has a 15L turbocharge 1451 cc, 4 cylinder engine that generates 141.04 BHP power at 5000 RPM and 250 Nm torque at 1600-3600 RPM. In terms of suspension, it has a McPherson strut coil spring suspension at the front and a Beam assembled coil spring suspension at the rear. It has a 17-inch alloy wheel at the front and rear paired with disc brakes.

The BlackStorm diesel variant has a 14-inch touch screen and Jio voice recognition with the latest voice commands for cricket, weather, horoscope, news and knowledge.
MG Hector’s BlackStorm and 1.5L Turbo Savvy Pro CVT variants come with Level 2 ADAS features that include automatic braking, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, lane departure warning and lane keep assist. The BlackStorm variant has features like a digital key, live weather, over-speeding alert, remote vehicle status, Geo fencing and live location.
The MG has prioritized customer’s safety. For this reason, the company has provided facilities like child safety lock, brake assist, traction control, engine immobilizer and seat belt warning. Also, this SUV added features like hill assist, speed alert, ISOFIX child seat mounts, speed sensing auto Door Lock, seat belt warning, door ajar warning and ABS with ABD (electronic brake force distribution).
