Maruti has updated the Dzire for the 4th time since its launch, and Honda has updated the Amaze for the first time since 2013. The Maruti Dzire 2024 has 7 color options: Bluish Black, Magma Grey, Alluring Blue, Gallon Red, Splendid Silver, Nutmeg Brown & Arctic White.
The updated Honda Amaze has 6 color options: Platinum White Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic, Obsidian Blue Pearl & Metalloid Grey Metallic.
Dzire vs Amaze: Price
The price of the Dzire base variant is Rs. 6.59 lakh (ex-showroom) and the price of the Amaze base variant is Rs. 8 lakh (ex-showroom). Both cars have automatic and manual transmission options. Dzire vs Amaze: Specifications
Both these sedans have the same Macpherson strut suspension at the front and twist beam suspension at the rear. Also, both have electric steering, which can be tilted. The Dzire and Amaze have R14 radial tubeless tyres and disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear.
The Dzire has a 37-litre fuel tank capacity, but the Amaze has slightly less, 35 litres of fuel tank capacity. The dimensions of these cars are:

Desire vs Amaze Features:
While comparing these two cars, the key point is that the new Dzire 2024 has a 5 star safety rating from global NCAP and the updated Amaze 2024 has an advanced ADAS feature only with the top variant. Both the cars have 6 airbags, an antilock braking system, central locking, a seat belt warning and an engine immobilizer. Also, both get hill assist, speed alert, ISOFIX child seat mounts and electronic stability control.
If we compare base variants again, only the Amaze has a day-night rearview mirror and outside rearview mirror turn indicators. The Dzire and Amaze have an accessory power outlet, a rear reading lamp and adjustable headrest, rear parking sensors, a bottle holder at the front & rear door, and gear shift indicators. In base variants of both brands, only Amaze has voice commands, a height-adjustable driver seat and a Follow Me Home headlamp feature.
