Bajaj Freedom CNG
Bajaj Auto launched India’s first CNG bike Bajaj Freedom CNG in the 2-wheeler market. At the launching event of this CNG bike, the Managing Director of Bajaj Auto Rajiv Bajaj was present with the Union Road Transport and Highway Minister Hon. Nitin ji Gadkari. Mr Gadkari is very hopeful and enthusiastic about this CNG bike project.
Already Bajaj is known for its best mileage bikes and now its Freedom CNG bike will be the milestone in the CNG bike segment. Initially, this bike will be available for sale only in Maharashtra and Gujarat, later the company will expand the sale.
Freedom CNG Price:
Bajaj Auto launched the Freedom CNG in 3 variants. The variants and their respective prices are:

To calculate the on road price of the bike, you should add Rs. 18000 to 20000 in ex-showroom price.
Freedom CNG Mileage:
Freedom CNG can go up to 210 km. with a full tank of CNG and with petrol you can achieve 64 kmpl as per the company’s announcement. The total riding range of Freedom CNG is 330 km if both full tanks are filled (Petrol+CNG).
Freedom CNG Specifications:
The Freedom CNG has a 125 cc air-cooled engine that generates 9.3 bhp power at 8000 rpm and 9.7 Nm torque at 6000 rpm. The Freedom CNG comes with a CNG tank with a capacity of 2 kg and a petrol tank with a capacity of 2 litres. It can go up to 93 kmph at top speed with the help of a 5-speed gearbox.
This petrol and CNG, dual fuel type bike follows the BS6 Phase 2 emission standards. At the front, Freedom CNG has a Telescopic fork Suspension and at the rear Manoshock absorber suspension. In a combined braking system, it has a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear.
This India’s first CNG bike has an 825 mm seat height, 149 kg weight, 1340 mm wheelbase and 170 mm ground clearance.
Freedom CNG Features:
The Freedom CNG is given a gear indicator, low fuel indicator, digital tripmeter and clock. Its headlight, taillights, and turn indicators are all supported by the halogen bulb. It is included with an instrument console, odometer, speedometer and digital fuel gauge (all digital). For the safety, Freedom CNG added pass light, DRLs (Daytime running lights), AHO (Automatic headlights on) and hazard warning indicator.
