Citroen C3 Aircross Dhoni Edition
The French company Citroen launched the C3 Aircross Dhoni Edition in India. This is very exciting news for cricket lovers and especially for Dhoni fans. The C3 Aircross was launched in September 2023, now the company has brought the Dhoni Edition with some cosmetic changes and new updates. Let’s see the details.
Citroen paid tribute to Mahendra Singh Dhoni by launching the C3 Aircross Dhoni Edition. The versatile cricketer and former successful captain MS Dhoni (Mahi) is now a brand ambassador and star campaigner of this new SUV. The Citroen launched the C3 Aircross Dhoni Edition with a price tag of Rs. 11.82 lakh (avg. ex-showroom).
C3 Aircross Dhoni Edition features:
C3 Aircross Dhoni Edition comes with a 10-inch touchscreen display with Android Auto (wired) and Apple CarPlay (wired) smart connectivity. It gets iPad compatibility, wireless charging, USB and AUX support. In terms of safety, the C3 Aircross Dhoni Edition includes a seat belt warning, child seat anchor points, speed alert and TMPS (tyre pressure monitoring system).
Citroen added more features to this SUV like a low fuel indicator, Door Ajar warning, digital Tachometer, shift indicator and trip metre. Also, the digital instrument cluster shows average speed, average fuel consumption, distance to empty and time.
In the braking system, the C3 Aircross Dhoni Edition has an ABS with EBD and brake assist. It has a hill hold control to perform better in hilly regions. Halogen lights are used for headlights and tail lights and for DRLs Citroen uses the LED. For extra security purposes, it has given a child safety lock, central locking, door lock by speed sensing and engine immobiliser.

Citroen C3 Aircross Dhoni Edition has an 1199 cc, 3-cylinder, DOHC, PURETECH 110 type petrol engine. That generates 109 bhp power at 5500 rpm and 190 mm torque at 1750 rpm. According to ARAI, the mileage of this SUV is 18.5 kmpl.

It consists of a 6-speed gearbox and follows the BS6 Phase 2 emission standards. In terms of suspension, it is equipped with a MacPherson Strut with coil spring suspension at the front and a twist beam with coil spring suspension at the rear. In the braking system, it has a ventilated disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear.
The tank capacity of this SUV is 45 litres and the company claims it can go up to 833 km with a tank full of fuel.
